There's No Place Like Lions!

 

Join Lions from across Oregon for two inspiring days of leadership development, membership growth strategies, collaboration and celebration in the heart of The Dalles. Hosted by The Dalles Lions Club as they celebrate 100 years of service, the 2026 District 36G Convention is designed to strengthen our clubs and equip members with practical tools they can implement immediately.

A Historic Setting with a lighthearted nod to The Wizard of Oz, inspired by Judy Garland’s historic performance  with the Gumm Sisters, at the Granada Theater  this convention blends purpose with celebration in a truly memorable venue.

Director Washburn brings decades of Lions leadership experience and a passion for strengthening clubs through membership growth, leadership development and service impact. Her keynote address on Friday evening will focus on building vibrant, sustainable clubs for the future.

Friday – April 10

 

11:00 a.m. – Registration Opens

12:00 p.m. – Oregon Sight & Hearing Foundation Meeting & Lunch

2:00–4:00 p.m. – Downtown Walking Tour (history & murals)

5:30 p.m. – Social Hour

6:00 p.m. – Dinner Program

7:00 p.m. – International Keynote Address, 

fellowship, celebration, and inspiration in the historic Granada Theater.

 

Saturday – April 11

 

8:00 a.m. – Registration & Continental Breakfast

9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. – Interactive Convention Sessions

 

Evening Celebration Saturday evening, join us for a Sock Hop celebration featuring live music, light refreshments and fellowship.
